The Student Voice Advisory Network is a superintendent-led initiative that brings together students from each of the 12 FBISD high schools to participate in day-long sessions each month that develop student’s advocacy skills. Ambassadors also elevate the student voice in decision-making at the district and campus levels, and regularly advise district officials on policy and program matters. VOICES is also responsible for planning and running district-wide High School Student VOICES Summit each year.

Three students are selected to represent each campus and are eligible to apply during their Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years. Students will serve a one-year term and may be eligible to apply for the following year as a Lead VOICES Ambassador. This is a full school year commitment and attendance is mandatory at all meetings. Upon failure to attend two meetings students will be replaced by the next qualified candidate from their school.

• User must click on "SAVE CHANGES" at the bottom of the page in order to upload your Personal Essay and to access the "Add/Edit Extra Curricular Activities, Outside School Activities, and Community Service Programs" sections of the application.
• You may "Save Changes" and return to the application at another time, but once you click "Submit" the application is final.
